Built from the infrastructure up

I spent my first years in enterprise infrastructure and support before moving into data engineering. That foundation still shapes how I work: when a pipeline fails, I investigate the network, driver, credentials, and runtime as readily as the code.

My best work happens at system boundaries. A machine records a value, a legacy database stores it under an ambiguous name, a pipeline moves it, a model aggregates it, and an application presents it to someone making an operational decision. I make those handoffs reliable and preserve the meaning from source to decision.

I am completing a Master of Science in Data Analytics at Walsh College in 2026 while continuing in my current role.

Career

From support to platform ownership.

Thirteen years with one manufacturer show a clear progression: hands-on support, technical leadership and automation, then data engineering and platform architecture.

Approach

In short: prefer configuration to repeated custom work, verify what a field means before building on it, design the guardrails before the first production write, and place expensive computation in the layer best equipped to own it.
